FAQs Q: When do I have to pay for your services? A: We offer different payment options depending on your situation. We accept all major credit cards and checks and can bill you after services are provided, or if you prefer, you can wait until the sale of your house and pay us at the closing table. We will establish a good channel of communication with you and your Realtor to make sure that we are taking on projects in the best order and completing the projects in time for open houses and/or showings. Q: How much more will I really get for my home if I stage it? A: We have seen results varying from full sales price in a slow market to 15% above asking price in an active market. Of course we can't give you an exact amount staging will affect your sales price, but here are some things to consider -
Q: Do you ever use 'tricks' to lessen my costs? Like covering up stains on the carpet? A: We realize that you may not want to spend money unnecessarily on a house that you won't be living in for much longer so we have all kinds of creative solutions for difficult situations. We do not however, try to deceive potential buyers about the structural condition of a home. We will work hard to draw attention to the features of the home and detract from the less desirable. Your consultant will try to minimize costs by utilizing what you already have whenever possible. We approach all challenges from the seller's point of view as well as the buyer's point of view. Q: Will you be showing the house to potential buyers? A: We are available for open house hosting however your Realtor will most likely prefer to maintain this role. Level 2 Consultation includes 1 free of charge open house co-host at your Realtor's discretion. Your Realtor will still be responsible for showing the house to prospective buyers unless there is an explicit agreement between your Realtor and your Professional Staging of Texas consultant. Extra care recommendations will be made depending on time frames and goals you have in mind.
